One...Two...Three...

We had the honor of co~hosting a baby shower for one of Matt's oldest & best friends, Chris and his wife Jennifer last weekend!  Right before Christmas, Chris came to our house and surprised us with the sonogram picture and asked us how high we could count...not one baby, not two babies, BUT three babies!  We have got such a kick out of Kellen....When we ask him how many babies Uncle Chris is having???  His response is "One, Two, Three"!!!

Jennifer looks beautiful, the babies are doing amazing, and Chris is already a proud papa!  :o)  We had so much fun planning their shower!!!  We decided to do a couples shower and to do a monkey's and camping theme.  The camping part really ended up coming in through the food!  It came together perfectly!  Here are a few pictures of the event...

Invitations made by Sarah & Me!  ~  Chris & Jennifer (so cute)!

Centerpiece (leftover decorations from Kellen's 1st Birthday)

Silly poem I made up by googling things that rhyme with "way"!  Ha!

Burlap Ruffle table runner made by my good friend, Amy from Custom Creations

Mini Diaper cakes made by me (I made 6, but ended up with 5 at the party)
Tried to come up with decorations that could be used by the parents~to~be!

Monogrammed onsies ~  This was a tough one since we don't know the sex of the babies!
Deborah Anne did a great job coming up with these!

Mini Cupcakes from Walmart!  They were so yummy!

My Cricut has been such a life saver in doing my own decorations!  :o)  Second clothesline filled with receiving blankets, white onsies and monkey sleepers!

The hostesses ~ Deborah Anne, Ashly, Mommy~to~be, Me, & Sarah (We missed Deanna for the picture)  We were going to take pictures later and then never got around to it!

6-foot sandwich from Walmart!  I have to say that this was so yummy
(came with all the fixings to)!

Chips & Homemade Salsa!   There was also Deer Chili & Vegetarian Chili & Cornbread!
I have to give a shout out to Ashly for the cornbread...it was her first time making it and it was SO good!  AND it was from scratch!

Make your own Smores bar!  This was a HUGE hit and so much fun!
We had Sterno's in the flower pots!  We were able to find Regular marshmallows plus...strawberry, chocolate, chocolate mint, toasted coconut,  & German chocolate cake.  Then we had honey & cinnamon Graham crackers with milk, dark chocolate & Rolos.  And that is not all!  We also had mini peanut butter chips, chopped Andes mints, & chopped heath bar to dip the Marshmallows in!
It was SO yummy & fun!

It was such a fun party and I was super honored to be a part of it!  We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet their three bundles of joy when they arrive!
